Al Dubin

In tandem with composer Harry Warren, lyricist Al Dubin enjoyed an extraordinary run of hits through the entire 1930s, authoring standards like “We’re in the amount of money,” “I JUST HAVE Eyes for you personally,” and “Lullaby of Broadway.” Alexander Dubin was created June 10, 1891, in Zurich, Switzerland, but elevated mainly in Philadelphia, PA; he briefly went to medical college but was expelled in 1911, immediately after shifting to NY to pursue a profession like a songwriter.
