Al Blake

Couple of blues artists return back and preserve the foundation from the music, linked with when splashes of contemporary themes. Big Al Blake is definitely a rare parrot in that golf club. As a kid in Oklahoma, he noticed and fell deeply in love with blues from the air. Shifting to California in the middle-60’s, he hung out on the Ash Grove, conference Junior Wells, Freddie Ruler, Lightnin’ Hopkins, and Sunnyland Slim. Immediately after, he transferred to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, where he produced his first music group. By the first 70s, he was getting together with King on the Ash Grove, when he fulfilled a plunky longer haired large child playing unearthly electric guitar. That child was Hollywood Extra fat. Quickly they produced the Headhunters with pianist Fred Kaplan, which advanced in to the Hollywood Extra fat Band with the addition of Richard Innes, and Jerry Smith, afterwards changed by Larry Taylor. They documented their self entitled album (afterwards titled Rock and roll This Home) in 1978, and split up in the first ’80s. These were a stage from reforming when Extra fat’ passed away in 1986. Once disbanded, Blake place low until signing up for Kim Wilson’s Blue Training collar label in 1997, launching Mr. Blake’s Blues.
