Al Belletto

Alto, baritone sax, clarinet. Red-hot participant who also retains a master’s level in music from Louisiana Condition College or university, Al Belletto could make transitions from traditional jazz to golf swing to bop. While functioning towards his undergraduate level, Belletto led his very own band. Then began experimenting his New Orleans hometown with Sharkey Bonano, Louis Prima and Wingy Manone, in addition to the Dukes Of Dixieland. He began his very own group in 1952, and afterwards worked in a number of night clubs. Belletto’s sextet was consumed into Woody Herman’s orchestra to get a 1958 state dept. tour of SOUTH USA and once once again a year afterwards.
