Brighton based multi-instrumentalists Ed Chivers and Graham Sowerby created AK/DK after conference at a skill set up in London in 2008. The duo originally formed being a conceptual arts task before going to develop melodic digital music using a distributed interest for synthesizers as well as the music and impact of Raymond Scott, Add N to (X), and Krautrock. As the music group created, their live shows encouraged folks from the market to arrive and perform with them, which improved the D.We.Y. method of their recordings to complement their concert events. A full Western european tour as support for the Dandy Warhols implemented, with one point these were became a member of on-stage by keyboardist Zia McCabe. Toward the finish of 2012, the group performed a gig using their heroes Damo Suzuki from Can and Ann Shenton from Add N to (X) on the Green Door Shop in Brighton. The music group released the EPs Dispatch #1 in 2011, Dispatch #2 in 2012, and Dispatch #3 in 2013 (the last mentioned which included the solitary “Battersea”), all remaining true with their uncooked D.I.Con. method of music documenting. The debut recording Synths + Drums + Sound + Space premiered in 2014.
