Because the frontman for San Francisco-based rock and roll outfit Highwater Increasing, singer/songwriter Aidan Hawken found a lot of his band’s tracks appearing on various hit Television shows over time, like the OC, Sex and the town, Boston Public, and something Tree Hill. A Bay Region indigenous, Hawken relocated to LA in springtime 2005. That same season, he released his first single work, Pillows & Information, on Container 29 Records. Much like Elliott Smith, Hawken enlisted different musician friends to greatly help using the record, including guitarist Chuck Prophet.
