Aidan Baker

An accomplished article writer and musician, Aidan Baker has his artistic fingertips in lots of pies. After graduating from Montreal’s McGill University or college with a level in Books and Religious Research, Baker released a four-song acoustic cassette as “Aodhan” (the Gaelic spelling of his name). He also teamed up with two fellow Toronto music artists to generate ARC, an ambient guitar-driven trio which garnered very much praise because of its advancement and integrity. The group released three albums, including Two in 2001. Having been released in main literary mags nationally and internationally, Baker released his debut recording Aspect in 2000. In 2001, he released his follow-up, Characters, a concept recording centered loosely around characters from both Jack port the Ripper as well as the Marquis de Sade.
