Ahab

German funeral doom trio Ahab were founded in the city of Esslingen by Midnattsol and Penetralia music artists Daniel Droste (vocals, guitars, keyboards) and Christian Hector (acoustic guitar), alongside Endzeit member Stephan Adolph (bass, history vocals). Taking motivation from Herman Melville’s traditional tale of an excellent white whale as well as the infatuated ship’s captain who pursued it, Ahab 1st examined their creation within the shallow waters of the 2004 solitary entitled “The Stream” and 2005 demonstration called The Oath, before diving in to the deep end making use of their 2006 recording, the Napalm-issued THE DECISION from the Wretched Ocean. The Divinity of Oceans found its way to 2009, accompanied by The Large in 2012. In 2015 the music group released their 4th studio long participant, The Boats from the Glen Carrig, an idea recording built round the 1907 horror book of the same name penned by William Wish Hodgson.
