Against the Current

Against the existing certainly are a pop-punk band that formed in Poughkeepsie, NY in 2011. Led by vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist/vocalist Dan Gow, and drummer Will Ferri, they primarily built up a big pursuing on YouTube covering tracks like Owl Town and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Great Period” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Capture My Breathing.” Their personal debut solitary, “Considering,” found its way to July 2012, adopted a year later on by “Nearer, Faster,” the second option which also made an appearance on the debut EP Infinity in 2014. Run by catchy, upbeat melodies and Costanza’s solid tone of voice, Against the Current’s audio fell more for the pop part of the range. After an all-acoustic EP, they shipped their third EP, Gravity, in 2015 and captured the interest of well known indie Fueled by Ramen Information. With a fresh label deal set up, they started issuing singles in early 2016 in expectation of their full-length debut, INSIDE OUR Bones, which found its way to May of this year.
