The black metal band referred to as Aetherius Obscuritas is in fact the work of 1 man, Hungarian vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Arkhorrl, whose real name is Vágvölgyi Viktor. After choosing to start Aetherius Obscuritas in 2002, Arkhorrl documented a set of demos in 2003’s Világra Jött and 2004’s Sötét Prófécia that inaugurated a custom of fiercely underground music saluting questionable Scandinavian black steel staples like Burzum, Ragnarok, and Old. 2004 also yielded the to begin many full-length CDs from Aetherius Obscuritas, with Az Éjszaka Császára, and eventually Kínzó Harag (2005), Layae Bölcsõje (2006), and Víziók (2007) — the last mentioned featuring studio room drummer Zson instead of the heretofore utilized drum machine.
