Sound pop quartet Aenone hailed from Nyack, NY, and released just one single critically acclaimed EP for Kokopop in 1993. Melding shoegazer electric guitar work with soft vocals and a good rhythm section, head Craig Sterns, guitarist Kim Collister, bassist Costs Starr, and drummer Steve Crowley wowed the indie rock and roll press with Saints and Electric razors, but the music group was to become short-lived. Afterwards, Sterns, Collister, and bassist Costs Stair would get together as Nyack, and would just as before resurface in 1997 as Fork.
