Adult Rodeo

Austin, TX’s Adult Rodeo formed in 1995 from the ashes of guitarists/bassists/vocalists Stephanie Mankins and Rob Erickson’s collegiate music task Harmala. After shifting from Rhode Isle to NY to California, in 1998 the duo installed with keyboardist/programmer Kristin Erickson and documented their debut record, The Kissyface. A duplicate of the recording made its method to Kramer, who released it on his Shimmy Disk label. The next yr the group documented their second recording Texxas that was released in early 2000, which also presented efforts from Kramer and Mankins’ sister Stephanie on drums. That yr Adult Rodeo also added full-time drummer Karl Lundin and guitarist Toby Scroggins towards the lineup.
