Adiemus

Ethno-classical project Adiemus was spearheaded by composer/conductor Karl Jenkins, a longtime person in prog-rock innovators the Gentle Machine. The idea originated as a bit Jenkins penned for Delta Airlines tv industrial, its fusion of cultural vocals and orchestral support proving so favored by people that a full-length Adiemus record, 1995’s Music of Sanctuary, was made using vocalist Miriam Stockley as well as the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The record was popular on both well-known and classical graphs, and was implemented in 1997 by Adiemus II–Cantata Mundi; Adiemus III: Dances of your time appeared a season afterwards and Adiemus, Vol. 4: The Eternal Knot was released in early 2001.
