Shaped by Scott McGill (guitar) and Vic Stevens (drums), Addition By Subtraction can be part band, portion task. The duo, having performed jointly in McGill’s Hands Plantation, recruited bassist Michael Manring (Attention Deficit) and keyboardist Jordan Rudess (Dregs, Fantasy Movie theater) to full the clothing. Their first record, Addition By Subtraction, premiered in 2000, merging a solid footing in fusion with leanings in to the world of intensifying rock.
