Addison Road’s mix of choice pop/rock and roll and Christian sensibilities took main in 2001, when Baylor School learners Jenny Chisolm and Ryan Simmons (who afterwards married) were approached using a lucrative give to try out a youngsters group event. Even though two didn’t have a music group, they quickly set up a lineup made up of bassist Travis Lawrence, drummer Jeff Sutton, and guitarist Ryan Gregg. The gig was effective, and Addison Street continued onward being a quintet, relocating to Dallas after graduation to hone their songwriting abilities and lead worship at an area cathedral. With Jenny Simmons’ vocals on the forefront, the music group toured relentlessly and released three unbiased recordings (Generally Loved You, Breaking Beautifully, plus some Sort of Spark) before putting your signature on using the Christian label INO Information in 2007. Their self-titled debut for INO appeared the next March, buoyed with the achievement of “All THAT COUNTS” over the country’s Christian graphs. A second record, Stories, followed this year 2010.
