Adastra

Founded in Stockholm in 1992, this Swedish pop quartet was shaped at the neighborhood Music Academy. Adastra comprised Vanna Rosenberg (vocals), Asa Schmalenbach (vocals), Henry Bergström (development; a former colleague of Georgio Moroder) and Bengt Girell (coding; a former colleague of European countries’s Kee Marcello). They announced themselves using the release of the debut one, ‘Iaonoma’, in 1994. Unfortunately, compatriots Ace Of Bottom had beaten these to the name of Abba successors, and Schmalenbach’s tracks failed to make an impression an international viewers. In the case, Rosenberg found even more profitable work in her concurrent performing career.
