Biography

After meeting the Metallic Jews frontman David Berman in a poetry showcase, Seattle city slickers Actual Tigers’ moniker was official after finding a postcard from him. Vocalist/songwriter Tim Seely and bandmates John Low (secrets) and Maximum Perry (bass) had been influenced by his sensibility, which meeting fixed that which was to become solid music group. Each member was at the bridge of settling into adulthood and discovered no solace in that point. Simplistic songwriting exuded their inner passions and an recording to check out. The deep-rooted Gravelled & Green, made by Dennis Herring (Camper Vehicle Beethoven, Throwing Muses, Cement Blonde), was released on Nettwerk in springtime 2001.
