Action Figures

Hailing from Fairfax, VA, Actions Figures possess released two albums of aggressive power-pop influenced by ’80s giants R.E.M. furthermore to ’60s and ’70s works like the Moving Rocks and Big Celebrity. The band is definitely made up of Jeff Smith, Chris Piller and Jim Waters — who trade off on acoustic guitar, bass and vocals — and drummer Josh Rowley. The group released Big Amazing in 1992 and came back three years later on with Little Residents. Both albums (plus an EP entitled Lauraville) can be found on EggBert Information.
