Acoustic Junction

The jam music group Acoustic Junction was formed in Boulder, CO in 1989 by singer/guitarist Reed Foehl; even though group endured limitless lineup adjustments in the years that adopted, other mainstays from the roster included multi-instrumentalist Tim Roper, bassist Curtis Thompson and drummer Matt Coconis. Earning a dedicated cult following because of their relentless tour routine, Acoustic Junction individually issued a set of albums, Encircled by Switch and THINK IT?S GREAT for What IT REALLY IS, which together offered more than 50,000 copies; the group after that authorized to Capricorn, but because the “acoustic” explanation no longer match their music they rechristened themselves Fool’s Improvement release a their self-titled 1997 main label debut. A go back to the better-known Acoustic Junction moniker preceded the 1999 launch of Live 5-4-99; Unusual Days made an appearance early the next year.
