Acoustic Food Chain

The self-described “blue age” duo Acoustic Food String comprised guitarists Jimmy Sferes and Steve “Guitar” Glotz, a set of transplanted New Yorkers who began playing together in Colorado in the mid-’70s. After jamming collectively on / off for a long time, the duo 1st teamed appropriately in 1989 in the group Lent Time, which released an eponymously entitled LP in 1991. In 1994 Sferes and Glotz exited the music group to create Acoustic Food String, a mainly instrumental discussion board for the duo’s “blue age group” music, a fusion of folk, blues, and jazz. A self-titled LP adopted in 1996.
