Argentine substitute duet Acida was shaped by musician/producer and previous Soda Stereo system keyboardist Tweety González and singer Alina Gandini, who previously worked alongside Leo Masliah and Fito Paez. In July of 1999, Acida added to tribute record for the Get rid of, released by Warner Music, with “Aside,” shortly, and shortly participated in another compilation with Lucio Dalla’s “Toda La Vida.” After touring Buenos Aires’ membership scene, Acida documented its first record in 2001.
