Ace Brigode & His Fourteen Virginians

b. c.1890s, USA, d. 3 Feb 1960, USA. Ace Brigode’s Virginians assorted in proportions from 10 to 15 music artists and vocalists, including Fred Brohez, Happy Masefield, Gene Fogarty, Johnny Poston, Eddie Allen, Billy Hayes, Teddy Ruler, Abe Lincoln, Don Juille, Dillion Ober, Cliff Gamet, Bud Lincoln, Al Tresize, Frank Skinner, Ray Welch, Ignaz Berber, Charlie Sexton, Bob Kinsley, Utmost Pitt while others. As their name implied, these were shaped in Charleston, Western Virginia, in the first 20s, with Brigode leading the music group on alto saxophone and clarinet. From the past due 20s the Virginians got secured a documenting agreement with MCA Information, and the music group played all of the main ballrooms and resorts on coastline to coast trips with regular radio play on programs like the White Rose Gas Show and Shirt Cereal Display. Further produces on a variety of brands, including Edison, Tranquility, Columbia Information and OKeh Information, continued before group efficiently disbanded in the close of Globe Battle II. After his last shows like a music group leader in Sodium Lake Town, Brigode then got a post as promotion and promotions supervisor for the Chippewa Lake Recreation area resort in Cleveland. When he passed away in 1960, there is a revival of his dance music group’s theme music, ‘Carry Me BACK AGAIN TO Old Virginny’.
