Kinesis premiered by AltrOck in 2007; the Italian label’s third Compact disc, it became a strong work reflecting the affects of such antecedents as Mahavishnu Orchestra and late-period Gentle Machine, aswell as similarities to some other Italian proggy fusion clothing, Deux Ex girlfriend or boyfriend Machina (although sans vocals). In 2011 Accordo dei Contrari separately released their second record, Kublai, offering the same quartet lineup as Kinesis and also a visitor vocal from Richard Sinclair (Hatfield as well as the North, Caravan) using one track. Many years later these were back again on AltrOck using their completely instrumental third record, 2014’s AdC, using the band’s primary lineup once again unchanged and with visitor performances from violinist/violist Vladimiro Cantaluppi and cellists Marina Scaramagli and Enrico Guerzoni on chosen tracks.
