Appearing out of the Seattle area, this psychedelic group surfaced from a band known as the night time People. That group included Reginald Shannon, Gary Hill, and Laurie Vitt. After numerous personnel adjustments, the name of the music group became Frantics, however in a dispute having a disgruntled previous member, they opt for name that shown among their newer recruits, getting Ron Peterson & the Accents. After Peterson still left the band, they truly became simply the Accents.
