Abutre

Abutre (or “Vulture,” within their local Portuguese) was an obscure rock music group from São Paulo, Brazil featuring vocalist Wagner Giudice, guitarist Ricardo Giudice, bassist Thomas Paulo Catafay and drummer Adalberto Rosado, Jr. Produced in 1982 and fueled with the era’s usual influences (component Bay Region thrash, component New Influx of British ROCK), the group added two monitors to 1985’s S.P. Steel II compilation (a significant document from the growing local picture) hoping of getting a recording agreement, however when this didn’t transpire, they split up without committing any more music to posterity.
