Ablaze My Sorrow

Produced in 1993 by Martin Quist (vocals/guitar), Magnus Carlsson (guitar), Anders Brorsson (bass), and Fredrik Wenzel (drums), Ablaze My Sorrow implemented in the footsteps of very similar Swedish death steel combos by incorporating plenty of melody to their frantic assaults. Substitute drummer Alex Bengtsson appeared soon after the documenting of their initial demonstration, “For Bereavement We Cried,” and second guitarist Roger Johansson was added ahead of 1996’s debut record If Feeling Still Burns, therefore Quist could concentrate on his vocals. Both of these would exit, nevertheless, and new associates Fredrik Arnesson (vocals) and Dennie Linden (electric guitar) performed on 1997’s The Plague follow-up, released, like their initial effort, over the No Style label. Discouraged using their minimal achievement and incapability to stick out in Sweden’s congested heavy metal picture, Ablaze My Sorrow had taken a protracted break before inviting brand-new vocalist Kristian Lönnsjö and producing a return in 2001 using their third record Anger, Hate and Fury, but nonetheless, widespread acceptance is constantly on the elude them.
