The duo of Ward Abel (guitar/vocals/flute/keyboards) and Steve Rawls (guitars/bass/keyboards/vocals) played for several years in the Jacob Rye Band, before shifting to start out their personal aptly entitled project Abel & Rawls in 1994. Producing a varied pop selling point of guitar-based rock and roll and melodic vocals, their self-released debut recording, Two Months, arrived in 1997 and was ultimately followed by ONCE WE Wake From Our Rest four years later on.
