Abed Azrié

The ancient music and mythology of the center East is fused with modern instrumentation by Syria-born Abed Azrié. Utilizing a combination of traditional and contemporary instruments, Azrié requires a fresh method of the customs of his birthplace. Subjected to Eastern liturgy as a young child, Azrié became thinking about the favorite music of France, america as well as the Mediterranean in his teenagers. Temporarily shifting to Beirut, Azrié researched Arabian books. In 1967, Azrié resolved in Paris, France. Along with his three albums-“Aromates”, “Suerte” and “Epic Of Gilgamesh”-Azrié offers provided a musical interpretation from the Sumerian tale of Gilgamesh, Sufi and Arabian poets and Andalusian authors.
