Abbath

Born from the ashes of Immortal, among Norwegian black colored metal’s most stalwart works, Abbath may be the creation of Immortal frontman and guitarist Abbath Doom Occulta (Olve Eikemo). Shaped in 2015 after Immortal ceased functions in the wake of the bevy of legal disputes, Abbath’s occult-laden dark steel onslaught was aided by God Seed bassist Ruler Ov Hell, guitarist and vocalist Per Valla, and drummer Creature. The music group produced their live debut at Tuska Open up Atmosphere 2015 before proceeding into the studio room to begin focus on their eponymous debut record for Period of Mist. The ensuing Abbath premiered in January 2016.
