Baltimore golf club DJ/maker Aaron LaCrate may be the creator of Milkcrate Information. His design of music pulls from a number of golf club styles, mainly ghetto-tech, filthy rap, grime, electro, and bass music. Though he’d been energetic being a DJ in Baltimore because the 1990s, LaCrate didn’t start to produce a name for himself internationally until 2006 using the Bmore Gutter Music combine record on Milkcrate Information. Also that calendar year, he released the Blow Remix EP, which highlighted several raps by Amanda Empty and co-productions by Debonair Samir, and remixed Lily Allen’s strike one “Smile.” LaCrate eventually toured being a DJ with Allen and teamed with DJ/manufacturer Tag Ronson for some YoYo membership nights in NEW YORK. Meanwhile, his creation work continued using a remix of Dizzee Rascal’s “Pussyole” in 2007 as well as the Mouth watering Gutter Remixes 12″ EP (offering Youthful MC and Professional Ace Included) in 2008. There is also Wow That’s What I Contact Gutter Music, Vol. 1 (2007), a Milkcrate Information release that put together a few of LaCrate and Samir’s latest production work.
