Aapo Häkkinen

Aapo Häkkinen is a Finnish harpsichordist and conductor, focusing on early music. He started his music research like a chorister at Helsinki Cathedral, and began harpsichord lessons at 13. He researched with Elina Mustonen and Olli Porthan in the Sibelius Academy, with Bob vehicle Asperen in the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatory, and shifted to Paris to review with Pierre Hantaï. He also received teaching from Gustav Leonhardt. Häkkinen earned the NDR unique reward in 1997 and the next reward as well as the VRT reward in the Bruges Harpsichord Competition in 1998. Häkkinen offers made an appearance with MusicAeterna, the Tapiola Sinfonietta, the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Lapland, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, the Vietnam Country wide Symphony Orchestra, the Cork Baroque Orchestra, the Tallinn Baroque Orchestra, as well as the Helsinki Chamber Choir, among a great many other ensembles. He offers performed like a soloist and conductor across European countries and in america, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Israel, Mexico, and Brazil.
