Alternative rockers A combination punk attitude, spacey Moog synth, and Britpop-influenced electric guitar rock and roll with bratty, juvenile humor. The group debuted in 1997 with How Ace Are Structures but attained their first popular release within the U.S. with 2000’s A vs. Monkey Kong. Although they toured behind it, they didn’t make too large of the splash and made a decision to re-enter the studio room soon after marketing the discharge. The resulting record, Hi-Fi Critical, was even more poppy and effective, and premiered in the summertime of 2002.
