Produced in 2011 by multi-instrumentalist, Lifestyle of Agony drummer, and Type O Detrimental co-founder Sal Abruscato in Brooklyn, NY, A Pale Equine Named Death mixes the brooding goth steel of Danzig, Biohazard, and H.We.M. using the turgid, post-grunge hard rock and roll of Alice in Stores. Abruscato, along with guitarist, audio engineer, and right-hand guy Matt Dark brown (Seventh Void), and a split group of players, released And Hell WILL OBSERVE Me, the 1st album beneath the moniker, in 2011. The band’s sophomore long-player, Place My Spirit to Waste, adopted in 2013.
