Spanish alternate pop/rock band A Las Penas Puñalás got mixed up in regional rock scene in the middle-’90s, performing a fusion of rock, flamenco, reggae, blues, and hip-hop. In 1998 the music group received an honor for best track, after taking part with “El Granito de Industry,” in the Altaveu Frontera Event. After issuing three EPs (“Guitarra Loca” in 1996, “Africa” in 1999, and “Todo Lo Que Ves”), A Todas las Penas Puñalás released their 1st album, known as Pop de por Aqui, in March of 2001.
