A.J. Croce

The son of Jim Croce, Adrian Wayne Croce produced his own musical tag with a combined mix of contemporary blues and soulful roots rock. He honed his piano abilities as a son, while dealing with a mind tumor that remaining him partly blind. Taking impact from famous brands Ray Charles and Stevie Question, in addition to many early blues performers, he started gigging within the NORTH PARK circuit and authorized a record agreement with Personal Music at age 19. 2 yrs afterwards, Croce released his self-titled debut, which presented creation from John Simon and T-Bone Burnett. That’s Me within the Pub made an appearance in 1995, and Croce quickly remaining the label to indication with Ruf Information, for whom he released Match to Serve within the springtime of 1998. Although most widely known for his piano-based interpretation of American origins music, Croce turned gears in 2000 by employing alternative rock maker Michael Wayne (whose credits included albums by New Radicals, Opening, and Jane’s Habit) to helm his following record, Transit. Four years later on, the singer’s 5th recording (the self-titled Adrian Wayne Croce) explored even more components of pop music, while 2006’s Cantos presented a decidedly stripped-down experience.
