A Giant Dog

Austin’s raucous, hook-driven indie rock and roll outfit A HUGE Dog had been formed in 2008 by Sabrina Ellis (vocals), Andrew Cashen (vocals, electric guitar), and Orville Neeley (drums), most of whom had previously played jointly throughout their high-school years in Houston. They recruited brand-new pals Andy Bauer (electric guitar) and Graham Low (bass) and started playing their boozy mixture of glam, garage area, and punk around Tx’ capital, initial releasing the home EP this year 2010 followed 2 yrs afterwards by their debut record, Fight. They produced the feeling on fellow Austinite and Spoon frontman Britt Daniel, who had taken them from the road for the nationwide tour in 2012. Pursuing 2013’s self-released Bone tissue LP, A HUGE Dog agreed upon a cope with esteemed indie Merge Information. Dealing with Spoon manufacturer Mike McCarthy, they documented their Merge debut, Pile, that was released in the springtime of 2016.
