A Canorous Quintet

The bizarrely named Swedish death metal band A Canorous Quintet happened in 1991, if they evolved from that which was previously “A Canorous Quartet,” and included singer Marten Hansen, guitarists Linus Nirbrant and Leo Pignon, bassist Jesper Lofgren, and drummer Fredrik Andersson. After documenting two demos, 1993’s “ENOUGH TIME of Fall months” and 1994’s “As Tears” (later on released as an EP), the group debuted with 1996’s Silence from the Globe Beyond full-length, after that followed using the quite amazing The Just Pure Hate recording two years later on. But their involvement in endless part projects had started to overwhelm the people of the Canorous Quintet, plus they soon made a decision to split the group to be able to go after them. Especially among their different destinations, both guitarists converted their concentrate to Assistance of Sin, while drummer Andersson became a member of leading Viking loss of life metal music group Amon Amarth.
