The four members of Defeat Basis — classically trained and Oxbridge educated — certainly didn’t appear to be club stars. However the home group’s 1st two singles, “Basis” and “Conserve Me,” captured the attention of Sasha and Experts at the job among other golf club veterans. The quartet also obtained fame for his or her DJ sets, blending in live saxophone and trombone (performed by member Big C), as well as the vocals of Molloy.
