Joao de Badajos

The composer Joao de Badajos was also a poet of some note. He was a musician in the courtroom of John III and most likely performed the viola though there is nothing certain. His worthy of being a composer is certainly assessed by his music at least among which (“Quien pone su aficion”) was used in an operetta. Badajos’ functions are mostly created for three voices in the low registers.
