The Scourge of the Sea

Indie rock-band the Scourge of the ocean was shaped in the wintertime of 2004 in Lexington, KY, by people of various other Kentucky groupings. Justin Craig and Robby Cosenza had been former people of Pontius CoPilot and current people from the Apparitions if they teamed up with Andrew British within the Scourge of the ocean. (All three are multi-instrumentalists and vocalists.) After launching a vinyl demo single in some recoverable format Records (“My Lovely One” b/w “From the Garbage”), they agreed upon to the recently revived and relocated indie label Alias Information and released their debut record, Make Me Armored, on July 25, 2006.
