The Lothars

Jon Bernhardt and Kris Thompson were inspired to generate the Lothars after viewing the film, Theremin: AN ELECTRIC Odyssey. The film was a documentary on the life span of Leon Theremin as well as the self-named device he created that could become essential in to the advancement of digital music. Bernhardt and Thompson shaped the group in 1996, made up of three theremins and a power electric guitar. The Lothars sound is certainly easily mentioned as digital music at its most fetal condition.
