The Sisters of Glory (Thelma Houston, CeCe Peniston, Phoebe Snow, Lois Walden and Albertina Walker) first performed together at a fresh York benefit. Another gig for the gospel quintet was at 1994’s Woodstock; later on that 12 months they appeared prior to the Pope in the Christmas in the Vatican II concert. The Sisters of Glory after that recorded VERY GOOD NEWS in CRISIS for Warner Bros.
