Derby Hatville

Music group discovered by C. L. Milburn and authorized to his Ocean Ell label from Houston, Texas within the middle-1960’s. Derby Hatville experienced a fairly varied sound, combining cheerful, Roulettes-like harmonies and fuzz-tone guitars on “You’ll Neglect Me,” and performing an eerie but effective garage-band-type cover from the Yardbirds’ “BECOME Earth. Their afterwards singles have significantly more of a created audio, with overdubbed equipment, and function in a pop-rock vein.
