Romulo Caicedo

Along with his sweet, romantic vocals set to the melodic interplay of accordion, clarinet, and brass section as well as the rhythms of maracas, bongos, clave, tumba, and cymbals, Romulo Caicedo helped to introduce the Caribbean-influenced cumbia towards the international stage. Having released his career being a former person in Les Tres Jotas (the Three Jays) in the past due ’40s, Caicedo proceeds to keep a ceaseless routine by himself.
