Joji Hirota

A master from the taiko drum, Joji Hirota was created in north Japan, while a kid he was profoundly influenced with the renowned percussionist Itto Oba. Ultimately relocating to London, he started discovering a fusion of Eastern and Traditional western instrumentation on single efforts including Rainfall Forest Wish, additionally teaming with keyboardist Pol Brennan and flautist Guo Yue for 1993’s Trisan. The Gate, an record inspired from the recent fatalities of Hirota’s dad and drum instructor, adopted in 1999.
