Organ, electric powered bass. Charles Kynard can be an organist whose jazz-funk leanings rival his predecessors and peers, though not really eclipsing them. Solid, though by no means flashy. He also takes on electrical bass. Kynard’s recording Reelin’ Using the Feelin’ continues to be sampled and shows up on several acidity jazz releases.
