Called after a street within their native Detroit, the R&B group 7 Mile comprised Luther “Squeaky” Jackson, Glynis “Lil’ G” Martin, Seantezz “Tezz” Robinson and Deion “D” Lucas. Putting your signature on to Mariah Carey’s short-lived Sony subsidiary Crave Information, the quartet released their debut one “Only a Storage” in 1998; their self-titled debut LP implemented afterwards that same calendar year.
