44 Xes

This techno rock/industrial band was formed in Bremen, Germany, in 1993, originally as Crashcat. By the start of 1995 Heiko Grien (vocals), Markus Gronostay (acoustic guitar), Raphael Kraft (acoustic guitar) and Dietmar Popke (drums) experienced transformed their name to 44xsera – pronounced ‘forty-four extra’. Their 1st concert together arrived at an Amsterdam event, performing before a mixed target audience of punks, commercial and metal followers. After the launch of their debut mini-album in 1995, boasting a punishing audio reminiscent of a far more restrained Nine In . Fingernails, they embarked about touring times with Shihad.
