3rd Matinee

The short-lived Los Angeles-based art-pop music group 3rd Matinee was formed in 1994 by songwriter and keyboard player Patrick Leonard (a producer most widely known for his use Madonna) and singer/guitarist Richard Web page (formerly of Mr. Mister) being a successor to Leonard’s previously group, Gadget Matinee (co-led by vocalist Kevin Gilbert), which acquired released one self-titled record that charted in 1991. Leonard and Web page were writing companions whose initiatives included the Madonna strike “I’ll Keep in mind.” Brian MacLeod (drums), Tim Pierce (electric guitar), and Man Pratt (bass) experienced all been users of Plaything Matinee, and Marc Bonilla (acoustic guitar) and been a touring person in the group. 3rd Matinee was finished by noted program keyboard participant and Toto member Steve Porcaro.
