3rd Force

Among the mainstays of the bigger Octave label, 3rd Pressure can be an instrumental trio made up of multi-instrumentalists William Aura (also the group’s maker and main composer), Craig Dobbin, and Alain Eskinasi, in addition varied and frequent visitor musicians. 3rd Pressure is somewhat more eclectic than most performers who match easy jazz radio types; actually, their work frequently straddles the collection between easy jazz and dance-heavy, electronic-tinged acidity jazz, occasionally incorporating ethnic affects aswell. 3rd Force’s self-titled debut made an appearance in 1994, and some “pressure”-themed titles adopted: 1995’s Pressure of Character, 1997’s Vital Pressure, and 1999’s Pressure Field, all at an identical regular of quality. In 2000, Higher Octave released a best-of retrospective entitled Collective Force.
