3 Colours Red

So named honoring the common film by Krzysztof Kieslowski, Uk punk revivalists 3 Colors Red were made up of vocalist/bassist Pete Vukovic, guitarists Chris McCormack and Ben Harding, and drummer Keith Baxter. Produced in London in 1996, the group have scored an underground strike using its Fierce Panda label debut, “THAT IS My Hollywood”; the single’s achievement brought 3 Colours Crimson to the interest of Creation Reports honcho Alan McGee, who instantly signed the music group release a the follow-up “Nuclear Vacation.” Two even more singles, “Sixty Mile Smile” and “Pure,” preceded the discharge of their full-length debut, also entitled Pure; an EP, Paralyse, implemented in later 1998 before the appearance of the next 3CR record, 1999’s Revolt. The group disbanded afterwards that calendar year, playing its farewell schedules on the Reading/Leeds Celebration in past due August.
